The society is not responsible for any information posted and does not vouch for the accuracy, completeness or usefulness of any data, information or queries that are posted

Members submitting data, information or queries are solely legally responsible for insuring that all material submitted for posting is not false, defamatory, inaccurate, abusive, vulgar, hateful, harassing, obscene, profane, sexually oriented, threatening, invasive of a person’s privacy, or otherwise in violation of any law. Members must agree not to submit any copyrighted material unless the member owns the copyright, or the copyright owner has granted approval in writing.

The Painted Hills Genealogy Society reserves the right to delete any material for any or no reason whatsoever. The submitter remains solely responsible for the content of the material, and agrees to indemnify and hold harmless the society, their officers and agents with respect to any claim based upon the posting of the submitter’s material. In the event the member submitting material to be posted on the society’s internet site has any questions as to their material meeting said requirement as stated above, the society strongly recommends the member obtain legal advice prior to the submission of material.
