| The land on which this cemetery is located is now owned by Mr. Alvin Schrock an Amish farmer and his family. They also run a sort of "country store" out of several trailers on the farm. My father and I have explored this cemetery several times with the permission of the landowner. We were (and still are) looking for the burial places of our Clark ancestors in Steuben County. My dad, who was born in Avoca (1923), is familiar with all the back roads and hills of the area and guided me to this spot. New stones have been discovered and replaced since the current list was published. It seems as though some of the stones were removed at some point to serve as flooring and steps in the barn on this property. The farmers have respectfully put them back in the cemetery.
