Adrian

Cotton , twin infant boys are buried on a hill across road from the Old Cotton house up in Marshall Hollow north east of Adrian 1893 sons of John L & Emma Ploof Cotton.

Brown’s Crossing

Two infant babies buried behind barn Brown’s Crossing the barn was located along side the river bank

Brown, female child buried near water spring north of Brown’s Crossing just at the start of Hathaway hill road. I remember this stone as a child , however my father James A Cotton and I both went to the location but could not find a trace of the stone.

Canisteo

An old Indian burial ground is located in the area of 31 Main St village of Canisteo . In 1886 skeletons, Tomahawks, colored beads, old coins, a copper kettle and other Indian relics were unearthed when digging a cellar. In 1982 another Indian skeleton was unearthed in this same area.
