Mom passed away in 1980. Both are buried at Allegany (NY) Cemetery
When we lived at Shinglehouse, everyone knew Bill.
When I was just a tot, I remember being put on the fender of our car
so
I could watch him and others play tennis. He was instrumental in getting
the tennis court put in. It was located between the cemetery and the
grove.
When the cemetery had to expand later on, the tennis court disappeared.
