Karen Eileen Burnell Obituary
BATH - On Aug. 27, 2013, surrounded by family and friends, Karen Eileen Burnell (Tucker), peacefully left us for a better world.
Karen and her twin brother were born in Bath on June 12, 1958. She spent most of her life on a small picturesque farm in Swain and graduated from Canaseraga Central School in 1976.
She married Curtis Burnell and they had two sons, Justin and Adam.
One of her greatest pleasures in her younger days was skiing. In recent years, she enjoyed doing various crafts and would spend time with her roommate, Jackie, making holiday decorations for Country Valley Homes, where she was employed.
She was predeceased by her father, Lester Tucker, and sister, Delores Rossman.
She is survived by her mother, Lucille Tucker; two sons, Justin and Adam Burnell; twin brother, Kevin (Donna) Tucker; relatives, Paul Tucker, Raymond Putman, Don (Kathy) Putman, David (Janet) Putman, Kelvin (Carolyn) Putman, Frank (Penny) Putman Doug (Robin) Putman; twins, Keith (Dody) and Kenny (Melissa) Putman, JoAnne Grangel, Teresa (Jim) Abbott, Joyce Kline, Vicky Boteler, Lois (Pete) Comstock and Beverly (Dan) Dillon; also close as a sister, special friend Jackie Mitchell; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
Calling hours are Friday (Aug. 30, 2013) from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. at the Mann Funeral Home in Canaseraga. A funeral will be held Saturday (Aug. 31, 2013) at 11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Burial will be at the Canaseraga Cemetery.
