Cochise, Ariz. — Edythe Kay Treat, of Cochise, AZ was born October 23, 1941 in Belmont, NY and died November 17, 2011 at her home in Cochise.
Kay married William Edward Treat, Jr. on January 28, 1961 in Knoxville, PA.
Bill, daughters Melanie Treat, Valeria (Robert) George; brothers Robert Bryan (Donna) Ianson, Durward Clayton (Nancy) Ianson, Jr., numerous Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews survive her.
She was preceded in death by her father Durward R. Ianson and her mother Hazel C. Casbeer Ianson Boom.
Kay has been an active member of the local congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and enjoyed many years of ministerial work in PA, NY and AZ. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening, walking in the great outdoors and a good laugh. Kay was greatly loved and will be dearly missed.
Memorial services will be 3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 26, 2011 at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses, 403 W. Rex Allen Dr. Willcox, AZ 85643 with Ruben Santistevan officiating.
