Helen M. Suchora, loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother
Olean, NY - Helen M. Suchora, formerly of Walnut St., passed away Saturday (June 26, 2010) at the Pines Heathcare and rehalbilitation Center.
Born August 16, 1914, in Olean, she was a daughter of the late George and Marcianna Ciesla Kukulka. In 1941, in Olean, she married Leonard T. Suchora, who died August 1967.
A lifetime resident of Olean, she was a member of Transfiguration Church and its Rosary and VIla Maria Societies.
Surviving are three sons, Robert (Joyce) Suchora of Olean, Leonard (Carolyn Shields) Suchora of Olean and Richard (Ruth) Suchora of Allegany; six grandchildren; one great-granddaughter and a nephew.
Besides her husband, she was predeceased by a sister, Stella Padlo' and a brother, Joseph "Fit" Kukulka.
At Helen's request, there will be no visitation. Family and friends are invited to a Mass of Christian Burial, Tuesday (June 29, 2010) at 1 P.M. in the Transfiguration Oratory. Father Edward Sheedy, pastor, will be Celebrant. Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery. Allegany.
Memorials may be made to Friends of the Pines, 2245 W. State St., or to a charity of the donor's choice.
Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Guenther Funeral Home Inc., Olean
