Looking for information on Wright Families who lived in Washington/Warren Co., New York in 1840 and moved to Cattaraugus Co., New York between 1840 & 1850. I have sent many letters to these areas but get no information. I would appreciate any help. Are there any Wright families living in these areas ? Richard

Many Wrights lived in Great Valley, Cattaraugus Co., NY. There is a Wright Road there today. There were many listed in the 1860 Census. My brother worked lumbering with a Bill Wright in the 1970's. He was a big guy!
