>Norman W. Harris of 21 Church Street, Franklinville, died Dec. 26, 1995 in
his home of an apparent heart attack.
>He was born on May 31, 1924 in Franklinville, N.Y. he was a son of Jesse
and Huldah Goetz Harris.
>He attended Ten Broeck Academy in Franklinville. He was a veteran of
World War II serving in the U.S.M.C.
>He was a former member of the Conservation Club of Franklinville. He was
also a member of I.O.O.B. Club and also V.F.W. Post 9487 of Franklinville,
and Franklinville Volunteer Fire Department.
>He had formerly been employed by Borden Milk Plant and Ontario Knife
Company of Franklinville for several years. Later he was employed for several
years at York Merritt in Ellicottville where he retired in 1986.
>He is survived by a brother, Albert (Lydia) Harris of Franklinville; three
sisters, Margaret Pettit of Farmersville, N.Y., Velma Lockwood and Dorrine
(Howard) Green, both of Franklinville; and several nieces and nephews.
>Friends and family may call Thursday, Dec. 28, form 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
at the Babbitt and Easton Funeral Home, 7 N. Main Street, Franklinville,
where funeral and committal services will be held Friday, Dec. 29, 1995 at 1
p.m. with the Rev. Raymond Doty officiating. Burail will be in Mount Prospect Cemetery, Franklinville. Memorials may be made to the Franklinville Fire Department Ambulance Fund
