Elizabeth BYCZEK
3/17/2005 - FORESTVILLE - Elizabeth ''Betty'' Byczek, 75, of Walnut Creek, formerly of Arkwright and Brocton, died Wednesday (March 16, 2005) in the Chautauqua County Home in Dunkirk. She was born July 6, 1929, in Garfield, N.J., the daughter of John and Barbara Pastor.
She was a former member of St. Patrick's Church of Brocton.
Her hobbies were playing bingo and knitting.
She is survived by a daughter, Jane Palmer of Arkwright; a son, Theodore Byczek of Jamestown; four grandchildren; and a great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Theodore J. Byczek, whom she married May 29, 1946, and who died April 25, 1981; a brother, Michael Pastor; and four sisters: Mary, Rose, Claire and Margaret Pastor.
The funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday in the Morse Funeral Home of Brocton. Chaplain Donald Carlson will officiate. Interment will be in the Portland Evergreen Cemetery. |
