|RICHBURG PUMPER DIES LAST SUNDAY; WAS RAISED HERE
Raymond Lansom (should be Lanson) Skinner of Richburg died suddenly Sunday afternoon (December 3, 1950).
Mr. Skinner was born at Friendship on May 27, 1897, the son of Luther Skinner and Finetta Saunders Skinner. He was married to Miss Adah VanSkoik of Friendship March 13, 1920 (Wheeling, WV).
Deceased was a pumper for Moore Producing Company and had resided at Richburg the past 31 years.
Survivors, besides the widow are four sons, Earl L. of Bolivar, Ralph H., of Andover, and W. Breadon (Bill) and Kenneth E. Skinner at home; one daughter, Mrs. Verne (Catherine) Baldwin of Friendship, and six grandchildren. His foster parents, Mr. & Mrs. William Breadon of Frienship, also survive. (Mrs. Breadon was the former Maude Finetta Saunders, cousin of his mother).
Services were held at the home of the son, Earl L. Skinner, Bolivar, yesterday afternoon (December 6, 1950). The Rev. Roy M. Black, pastor of the local Methodist Church, officiated and interment was in the Richburg Cemetery.
