Mrs Edith B. Piller, daughter of Mr and Mrs. James C. Tompkins of 7 Jennings street and Ernest Clifford Bates were married Saturday afternoon at the Presbyterian Manse. The Rev. Emler J. Stuart, pastor of The First Presbyterian Church, performed the ceremony. The couple was unattended.
After a short wedding trip to Silver Lake the couple will make there home here, as Mr. Bates is employed at Corning Glass.
