>FRIENDSHIP- Mrs. Myrtle I. Greene, 83, of Dimick Road died Monday
(Nov. 25, 1996) in the Cattaraugus County Infirmary at Machias after a long
illness.
>Born March 24, 1913, in Munderf, Pa., she was the daughter of Chester
and Annie Wingard Sharp.
>On Sept. 6, 1928, in Richburg, she married Kenneth Greene, who died in
1991.
>Mrs. Greene had been employed as a nurse's aide at the former Allentown
Nursing Home.
>Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Loretta Payne of Arcade, Mrs.
Catherine Blue of Joplin, MO., and Mrs. Audrey Blue of Friendship; a son
Ronald Greene of Friendship; 15 grandchildren, 33 great-grandchildren and
five great-great-grandchildren; three brothers, Roy Sharp of Gasport, Russell
Sharp of Allegany and Dale Sharp of Knapp Creek.
>Friends may call today fro 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at Schaffner Funeral
Home Inc., Bolivar.
>Funeral and committal services will be held at the funeral home
Wednesday (Nov. 27, 1996) at 11 a.m. The Rev. Wayne Baldwin will be in
Richburg Cemetery.
>Memorials may be made to the Friends of the Cattaraugus County Nursing
Home, Box 310, Machias, NY 14101.
