>Mrs. Edwina E. Green, 80, of 1726 Butler Ave., Olean, died today
(Monday, July 1, 1991) in St. Francis Hospital.
>Born March 1, 1911, in Colesburg, Potter County, PA, she was a daughter
of Franklin and Elma Pearl Gleason West. On March 2, 1940, in Port
Allegany , Pa, she married Cecil P. Green, who survives.
>Mrs. Green attended Phillips Creek School and was a 1929 graduate of
Belmont High School.
>She had been employed in the home health care field for the elderly in the
Richburg area for many years before her retirement in 1972.
>Mrs. Green had lived in Richburg for many years and later in Rock City
before moving to Olean.
>Surviving besides her husband are a son, Franklin Green of Inavale; two
daughters, Mrs. Nancy Wilson of Batavia and Mrs. Hohn (Judy) Cabisca of
Derrick City, PA; 14 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother,
Franklin West of Eldred, PA; a sister, Lucy Easton of Bloomfield, Ill.; and
several nieces and nephews.
>She was predeceased by a son, Truman Goodliff, in 1988.
>Friends may call Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Frame Funeral
home, Eldred, where funeral services will be held Wednesday (July 3, 1991)
at 11 a.m. The Rev. Stephen D. Shields, pastor of the Bradford (PA)
Christian and Missionary Alliance Church, will officiate. Burial will follow in
Annin Creek Cemetery, Turtlepoint, PA. |
