Albert Burd Eckert of Crosby, PA is supposed to buried in the Mt.Prospect Cemetery in Franklinville, NY. A family plot was bought and his name is listed. He died But I found his obituary in from the Smethport paper that states he was to be buried in the "Main Settlement Cemetery" He was the husband of Nellie Eckert, father of Lee Windsor, Nina Cahill and a Mrs. Benson. He was born in Farmersville, NY. I have not been able to find a cemetery near Crosby with that name. Does any one know which cemetery the obit may have been referring to. He died Sunday, June 1, 1941.

Thank you for your help. I called the town clerks office in Portville and left a message to see if I could confirm Albert is buried in the Main Settlement Cemetery (East Portville Cemetery). He is listed on the web- site for East Portville, and his wife Nellie is also listed there. But because his name is in the book at Mt. Prospect, a spot may have just been reserved for him there with other family members. I will add the information when I hear back.
