Pretty Home Wedding. Miss Lana Dick Wedded to Mr. Paul W. Lester at
Her Home Near Richburg, Saturday.
(Special to The Bolivar Breeze) Richburg, Jan. 23. -- A very pretty wedding
occurred at the home of Mr. & Mrs. Fred Dick on Saturday morning, when
their eldest daughter, Lana Onnalee was united in marriage to Paul W.
Lester, son of Mr. & Mrs. R.E. Lester of this place.
Rev. J.M. Leach of Ceres performed the impressive ring ceremony in the
presence of the two immediate families...
Immediately following the ceremony a sumptuous wedding breakfast was
served, at which the Misses Mary Dick and Lucile Lester assisted as
The bride is a graduate of the Richburg high school and the Maple City
business school. She is an assistant in the local postoffice while the groom
is employed by his father in the oil business.
The young couple have many friends who wish them a happy and
prosperous wedded life. After a short trip, Mr. and Mrs. Lester will reside in
Richburg where the groom has a home ready for occupancy.
NOT IN NOTICE: Brides parents were Fred and Margaret Dick. Grooms
parents were Ralph E. & Kate Lester. Lana later went by her middle name.
Paul W. b. 4/19/1894 and d. ?1972?. Onnalee b. 1895 and d. 1990.
