I am trying to obtain a copy of my G-Grandmother's Death Certificate. Every place I have searched requests her parents names. That is the information I am trying to find.
Mary Bond was born in Brockport (not luck finding a birth cert. there). She married my G-Grandfather German Eckert . They lived in Farmersville then moved to Franklinville where she died Dec 24, 1919 in the home of her daughter Mae Woodmansee. They are both burried at Mrt. Prospect Cemetery.
I was able to get my G-Grandfather's death cert. from my mother's side without his parents, from Queens County. That is how I was able to obtain his parents names & Country of birth.
Does anyone have any suggestions of where I should apply for the Death Certificate or at least the information .
Thanks, Linda |

Linda,
Try taking your question to the Historical Society for Cattaraugus County. I found a probate for my Gr, Gr Gr. Grandfather in Stueben with the help of some great people in the Historical Society. They gave me the complete location and told me to send a letter requesting it along with a $3 check and I received it in the mail a month later. |
