A very pretty home wedding took place at the residence of the bride's parents, Mr. And Mrs. Jas. S. Hunter of Mills Mills, on Wednesday, Sept. 20th, 1911 at noon, when their daughter, Adda M. Redman of Short Tract, was united in marriage to Mr. Charles Ess of Allen, N. Y. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Mr. Osborne of Short Tract. THe bride was attended by her daughter Onnalee; the groom by his younger son, Merlin. After the ceremony and congratulations were offered the company adjourned to the dining room where dainty refreshments were served. The nearest relatives were present to the number of thirty-five. The gifts were beautiful and useful. Mr and Mrs. Ess departed on the afternoon train for a short wedding tour, after which they well be at home to their many friends in Fink Hallow, Allen. |
