I hope someone here has some kind of info on the Fred Kelly family from Thurston! He was my Great-Grandfather, b. 1839, d., 1916. His first wife's name was Olive, b. abt. 1843- 3 children; Norah, Willis, Luman. I do not know when Olive died or where she is buried. 2nd wife was my Great-Grandmother, Katherine or Kittie, b., 1868. They had one son, my Grandfather, Rowland, b. 1896, d. 1933. Fred is buried in Hope Cemetery, Campbell, along with Kittie, Rowland and Kittie's father Clark Watts. Fred is the only name on the stone. I cannot find the death date of Katherine and have no idea where to look any more. She remarried Albert Houghtelling and continued to live in Thurston/Campbell. I went to talk with Rex Cleveland, pres. of Hope Cemetery Ass. and he told me there were no records kept during the time Kittie died. Hard to believe, but seems to be true. The lot map I do have says my Grandfather Rowland was buried "next to Catherine, mother". Kittie must have died between April 16, 1930, the date of the census, and February 8,1933 if the lot map is correct. I have also contacted the Historical Society in Bath and they too had no info on when Kittie died. If anyone happens to read this and can help. please throw me a lifeline and help me out. I'd like to stop taking Excedrin for this headache and that info sure would help! Send me an email so I'll be sure to find whatever you can add.
Thank you so much.
