|OLEAN - Isabelle M. Jodush, formerly of the Brookside Apartments, Olean, passed away Sunday (Dec 2, 2012) in the Pines Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.
Born June 23, 1921, in Warren Pa., she was a daughter of the late Casimir and Louise Sowa Mikowicz. On Sept 3, 1938, in Salamanca, she married Victor S. Jodush, who passed away Jan 5, 2004.
Isabelle attended Holy Cross School and Salamanca High School. She was later employed at Sears and retired from JC Penny.
Isabelle was a member of St. Mary of the Angels Church and was a past member and past president of the School 8 Parent-Teacher Association.
Surviving are two daughters;, Marcia (Richard) Niles and Linda (Robert) Rubscha, both of The Villages, Fla., four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; a brother, Jospeh Mikowicz of Santa Clara, Calif; several nieces and nephews and grandnieces and grandnephews; and a special niece, Chirs (Charles) Rinko of Great Valley.
In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, V. Lawrence Jodush, on Feb 27, 2010.
Family will receive friends Tuesday from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Guenther Funeral Homer Inc., 1303 E. State St., Olelan, A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday (Dec, 5, 2012) at St. Mary of the Angels Church at 1 p.m. Father Gregory Dobson, pastor, will be celebrant.
Burial will be in St. Bonaventure Cemetery, Allegany.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
