MARRIAGE
Natalie Swift weds Bath Policeman
Miss Natalie Sue Swift of Bath RD 4 and Ricky F. Pygott were married at the Fire Hall in the Bath Municipal Building in Bath, Saturday April 28 1978 at 7 p.m.
Mrs. Pygott is the daughter of Zypha Swift, Jr. of Bath RD 4 and Mrs. Leora Swift of Bath RD 4.
There was attended by Mrs. Barbara Towner of Bath and George Zemac of the Eagle Valley Road.
The bride chose a floor length gown of eggshell satin, with white lace around the high neck and extending to the hem in front. She wore a head piece of pastel daisies and carried one red rose. Her matron of honor wore a floor length dress of polyester print and a white carnation corsage.
Mrs. Pygott is a Canisteo Central School Graduate and is employed by Bath Electric and Gas. Ricky is a Haverling Central graduate, spent three years in the Army with the Military Police and is employed by the Bath Police Department.
A reception for nearly a hundred guests was held in the Municipal Building following the wedding. Mrs. Towner cut and served the three-tiered cake which had been made by Mrs. Betty Barkley.
After a two week’s trips to North Carolina, the couple will be living on the Campbell Creek Road.
Mrs. Melvin Hann, Mrs. Thomas Thorpe, and Mrs. Gerald Knowles entertained with a variety shower before the wedding. 1978.
