: Flossie N. Flurschutz, 102, of Wellsville
: WELLSVILLE – Flossie N. Flurschutz, 102, a former resident of 319 W. State St., died Friday (Dec. 3, 1999) in the Mater Dei Home.

: Born June 13, 1897, in Whitesville she was a daughter of Eugene and Emma Matteson Langdon. On Sept. 4, 1920 in Whitesville, she married Glenn E. Flurschutz who died in 1968.

: Mrs. Flurschutz worked for Fred D. Rice in the former Rice’s Music Stores in Wellsville and Andover.

: Her memberships included the First Trinity Lutheran Church of Wellsville, its ladies aid society, and life membership in the Jones Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.

: Survivors include three sons, Edward (Lois) Flurschutz of Wellsville, Paul (Margie) Flurschutz of Auburn, and Ronald (Roxanne) Flurschutz of Rochester; six grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; and her family of the last 10 years at Mater Dei Home.

: She was predeceased by a brother, Clarence Langdon; and four sisters, Pearly Sweezey, Laura Bledsoe, May Sluyter and Norma Marsh.

: Friends will be received Monday (Dec. 6, 1999) from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. only in the J. W. Embser Sons Funeral Home in Wellsville where funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harold Kittzman will officiate.

: Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorials may be made to First Trinity Lutheran Church or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
