: MRS. WM. SWAIN
: As stated in last weeks dispatch, Mrs. Wm (Eliza Brown) SWAIN died at her home near Belvidere, Tueday, February 8th (1927, from her headstone) following a brief illness. Funeral services conducted by Rev. I. Southerton of this village, were held from the late home the friday following, with burial at Canaseraga.
: Deceased was born in Pennsylvania, January 1st 1861, the daughter of Samuel & Prudence BROWN. She was united in marriage to her husband at Andover, August 30th, 1881. Besides the husband, the following children survive; Three sons, John and Victor of Canaseraga, and Jesse at home and four daughters, Mrs. Claire (Philena) COOPER of Belmont, Mrs. Charles (Irena) LOCKWOOD of Dalton, Mrs. Glen (Vivian) COOPER of Scio and Miss Joyce at home.
