Cuba--Mrs. Ida Burdick of 2 S.Park St. died Thursday (March 28,1985)in Cape Coral, Fla.Born May 4, 1906, in Cuba, she was a daughter of Lee W. and Florence Lindsay Gross. In 1925, she married to Everett Blatchley, who predeceased her in 1948.In 1952, she married Philip Burdick, who died in 1983.Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. William (Delores) Curry of Fillmore, Mrs. Guy (Gertrude)Ingalls of Cuba,and Mrs.Rita Ann Wilson of Cape Coral,Fla;a son Everett Blatchley Jr. of Pine Island,Fla; a stepson Charles Burdick of Olean; 18 grandchildren, 22 great-grandchildren; two brothers, Lindsay A. Gross and Urban F. Gross both of Cuba;and several nieces and nephews. Friends may call at the Nicholson Funeral Home, 24 Genesee Parkway, Cuba, Saturday from 2 to 4 and 7-9 p.m. where funeral and committal services will be held Sunday (March 31,1985) at 2p.m. The Rev. Larry Poelma, pastor of the Cuba First Baptist Church, will officiate. Burial well be in Cuba Cemetery.Memorials may be made to the American Heart Association. Scrapbook D.Barney
