I was not able to find the burial plot. (March 2002) I was told by one of the members of the Cemetery Assoc. that his name is recorded as being in this cemetery. (Many of the stones have fallen over face down, since the information was recorded, many are now unreadable, Ted Seager) [Name: Sager]
Note: Philliip Seager came to Dryden, Tompkins, NY. With his mother after John was born.
Note: he later moved to Bath, Steuben, NY. The 1855 Census shoew that he was a resident of the town for three years.

The funeral held on Wednesday afternoon at the house was conducted by Rev. George H. Allen Jr and his friend Rev. Clarence E. Sutton. Protestant Chaplain at the Soldiers' Home, while the deacons of the Presbyterian church in which body he was long a member, acted as pall bearers.
The burial was in the family plot in Grove Cemetery.
The affection in which Mr. Seager was held was attested by the wealth of flowers that covered not only his casket but lined the room in which he lay. As he would have wished. The flag of his country for which he was proud to have fought.
Rozell Seager was born in Sonora 89 years ago last spring..
He was the son of Mr. & Mrs George Seager and was born Jul 16 1847
The greater part of his life had been lived in the Town of Bath. He conducted a business in Savona and in Bath for many years. For ten years he was the Inspector at the State Soldiers' Home,
