: > She was born June 14, 1929, in Farmersville, a daughter of Amos and Florence Pettit Meacham.
: > Mrs. Brown was a production line worker at Motorola, retiring in 1992.
: > She was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Yorkshire.
: > Surviving are two sons, Jerry (Rebecca) Osgood of Delevan and David (Lorraine) Osgood of Strykersville; three daughters, Joyce (Joe) Stangl of Arcade, Janice (Rex) Frost of St. Petersburg, Fla., and Jeannie (Rick) Morgan of Freedom; seven stepsons, Ray (Ethel) Frost of Montour Falls, Rex (Jan) Frost of St Petersburg, Fla., Roy Frost and John Frost, both of Tampa, Fla., and Steve Brown, Wade Brown, and William Brown, all of Arcade; a stepdaughter, Toika Root of Delevan; 13 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; a sister, Mary Howard of Franklinville; a brother, James (Ann) Meacham of Leroy; and several nieces and nephews.
: > She was predeceased by three sisters, Charlotte Potter, Eva Knight, and Ada Brown, and two brothers, Leigh Meacham and Maynard Meacham.
: > A funeral service will be held a 3 p.m. today (Sunday, May 28, 1995) at the Central Baptist Church, Yorkshire. Burial will be in Yorkshire Cemetery.
: > Memorials may be made to the Central Baptist Church.
: > Arrangements are under the direction of the W.S. Davis Funeral Home, Arcade.
