: FRIENDSHIP- Marcia O. Hint, 63, of 3365 County Road 8 died Friday (Sept. 17, 1999) at Charleston (W. Va) Area medical Center as the result of an automobile accident in West Virginia.
: Born Feb. 28, 1936, in the town of Wirt, Mrs. hint was the daughter of Howard F. and Alberta J. Burrows Wightman. On Jan. 1, 1955, in the town of Wirt, she married Donald Dale Hint, who died Dec. 26, 1998
: Mrs. Hint had lived all of her life in the town of Wirt. She was a graduate of Richburg Central School and attended Buffalo State College.
: For 40 years she and her husband owned and operated a dairy farm on East Notch Road in the town of Wirt. She sold eggs and goats milk from the farm, naming her business “The Happy Hen Farm”.
: She attended the Richburg Baptist and the Allentown united Methodist Church. She was an avid doll and stamp collector and enjoyed the Internet.
: In addition to her parents of Friendship she is survived by four sons, Michael D. (Margaret) Hint and Daniel D. (Tamara) Hint, both of Friendship, Matthew H. (Christine) Hint of Wellsville and D. Dean (Deborah) Hint of Cuba; tow daughters, Melanie A. (Donald) Lepine of Kennesaw, GA., and Donna D. (James) Lewis of Dover, Del; 23 grandchildren; a sister, Carol A. (Allen) Taylor of Friendship; and several nieces and nephews.
: Friends may call at the Treusdell Funeral Home, Friendship, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. on Tuesday. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday (Sept. 22, 1999) at 2 p.m. at the United Church of Friendship. Roberta Baker, pastor of the Allentown united Methodist Church, will officiate, assisted by the Rev. Rick Kiddy, pastor of the united Church of Friendship. Burial will be in Utopia Cemetery in the town of Wirt.
: Memorials may be made to the Allentown United Methodist Church. |
