Hello,
I found a copy of a newspaper article written about my family from the early 1900. In this article it uncovers a possible black sheep of the family. This article mentioned that Joshua Jones, who was hung in Coudersport, PA was the first murderer in this city (and maybe even county). I hear his skull is on display in Coudersport, PA. Not necessarily someone you want to be related to - but if this is correct he is related to some of my brick walls for my Jones family research.
Does anyone have any information about the pedigree of this Joshua Jones?
Thanks for any help you can provide!
Thanks,
Katie
