the Bride's Home.
Miss Agnes Daniels and Mr. Guy
Wellman United in Marriage, Sept. 3, at the Bride's Home.
Miss Agnes Daniels and Mr. Guy Wellman were united in marriage at the
home of the bride's parents, *Mr. and Mrs. D.A. Daniels in Friendship
(Allegany Co., NY), at noon, Thursday, Sept. 3, by Rev. F.S. Squayer,
assisted by Rev. William Baldwin. The brie was beautifully attired and
carried a white silk covered prayer book. She was attended by her sister,
Miss Sarah Daniels. Mr. Roy Wellman (brother of the groom) was best man.
The Episcopal service was read and Mr. Edward Meyer of Buffalo sang...
The guests were confined to the members of the two families. After
congratulations a dainty wedding breakfast was served. The ride and groom
are among the best known and most highly esteemed young people of
Friendship and hundreds of friends join with the writer in extending
congratulations and best wishes.
NOT IN NOTICE: Grooms parents were Abijah Joslyn and Katherine
(Fay-Miner) Wellman. *Cemetery records lists bride's parents as Cassius
and Ella (Higgins) Lewis while above article AND article on Guy's retirement
lists them as Mr. & Mrs. Darius A. Daniels -- I ASSUME that Agnes was
either adopted by the Daniels OR her mother remarried to a Mr. Daniels and
he adopted her. Agnes known as Agnes L.D. Wellman. Guy and Agnes had
