: > FARMERSVILLE- Mrs. Ada A. Brown of the Laidlaw Road, died Friday (Oct. 16, 1981) in Farmersville, as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
: > Born June 28, 1915, in Elton, she was a daughter of Amos and Florence Pettit Meacham. She was married to James E. Brown, who survives, on Jan. 4, 1947.
: > Mrs. Brown was a former employee of the Ontario Knife Company and Stardell Products, both of Franklinville, and had been employed at the Cattaraugus County Infirmary of Machias.
: > She was a member of the Calvary Alliance Church of Arcade.
: > Surviving besides her husband, are two sons, Lawrence Holmes of Machias and Douglas Brown of Hemlock; two daughters, Miss Florence Holmes of Nyack and Mrs. Robert (Sandra) Kilburn of Hawaii; a stepson, Millard Brown of Franklinville; a stepdaughter, Mrs. John (Marilyn) Malone of Hinsdale; 11 grandchildren; four sisters Mrs. Mary Howard, Mrs. Andrew (Eva) Knight, Mrs. Dana (Charlotte) Potter, all of Franklinville, and Mrs. Lowell ( Verna) Brown of Freedom; three brothers, Leigh Meacham of Franklinville, Maynard Meacham of Savona and Floyd Meacham of Leroy; and several nieces and nephews.
: > Friends may call at the Babbitt and Allen Funeral Home, 7 Main St., Franklinville, today and Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m., where funeral and committal services will be held Monday (oct. 19, 1981) at 2 p.m. The Rev. William Wells of Waverly and the Rev. Alan Taylor of the Delevan Central Baptist Church, will officiate. Burail will be in Farmersville Center Cemetery.
