Hello everyone,

I like to know if any of our membership have any Civil War ancestors?

Any if you do, and are interested - I would like to get information to you about several descendant groups that are out there, that would be interested in talking to you.

Did you know that there are several National decendant organizations that are available here in our WNY area (as well as nation wide), that have been around 100-140 years, which are historical, educational & patriotic organization which are dedicated in preserving the memory of the Civil War soldier?

Examples - to name a few:

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War
The Daughters of Union Veterans
The Ladies Auxillery

The Sons of Confederate Veterans
The Daughters of the Confederacy
Children of the Confederacy

I am personally involved with several of these organizations, locally in the Buffalo area. These organizations are currently looking for new members and associates to join there respected groups.

If anyone is interested in more information, please feel free to contact me anytime for further information. Steve@DixieResearch.com

Many of these CW descendant organizations have monthly meetings, newsletters, etc.....
Also many of these groups are involved in educational programs, graveside memorials, dedications, parades as well as Civil War reenacting...to name a few

I hope this interest our membership, and several will be involved in our Sons & Daughters of veterans groups...

Regards,
Steve
