Justin Vincent Bennett, 68, passed away on June 17, 2015, with loving family by his side in Houston, Texas.

Justin, known as Jud by friends and family, was born on November 19, 1946 in Corning, New York to Margaret and James Bennett.

Justin attended Corning West High School (Class of 1964) and graduated from SUNY Albany (1971). He retired in 2007 after spending years as an accountant in the construction and petrochemical industries. During his work he traveled extensively to many countries throughout the world. His hobbies included world stamp collecting, military history, billiards, baseball and bowling. He was a first class pool player and even paid his way through college with winnings. Justin was a fun-loving person who always had a smile on his face. His kind heart always lead him to placing others before himself.

Justin is survived by his wife, Denise E. Bruno; his daughter, Amy and her husband, Rob of Atlanta, GA; his daughter, Natalie and her husband, Troy and their three children, Troy Jr., Brandt, and Audrey of San Antonio, TX; his brother, James of Corning, NY; his sister, Margo of Chester, MD; and his late brother, John Michael of Horseheads, NY. He also leaves behind friends and colleagues who played very important roles in his life.

The family wishes to thank Minerva Aguirre, her son Mark (caregiver), and those who offered prayers and support throughout Justin's battle.

In lieu of flowers or donations, please contact the family at: Denise Bruno, 5800 Woodway Drive, Apt. 141 Houston, Texas 77057.
