Irondequoit, N.Y. ó Mary F. (Costello) Baker, formerly of Whitesville and Wellsville, passed away on Thursday (April 11, 2013) at St. Annís Home.

She was predeceased by her husband, Dale and son, Shaun; brothers, Raymond, Robert, Harold and Paul Costello.

She is survived by her daughter, Brenda (David) Heeks; daughter-in-law, Ellen Baker of Cleveland, Ohio; grandchildren, Shaun Marc (Sue) Baker and Scott (Jeanne) Baker both of Cleveland, Ohio, Maria (Jim) Heeks-Heinlein, Denise (Steve) LaPorta and Dale (Elizabeth) Heeks of Cary, N.C., Cheryl (Jason) Cady, David (Jamie) Heeks of Ruckersville, Va.; seven great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brother, Jack Costello; and many nieces and nephews.

Mary taught school both in Wellsville and Whitesville and found much pleasure and satisfaction being with her loving grandchildren, great-grandchildren, family and friends. She will be greatly missed.

Her family will receive friends Monday from 4-7 p.m. at the funeral home (570 Kings Hwy South). Friends are invited to meet the family Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. at St. Kateri at Christ the King Church for her funeral mass.

Interment will be in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
