BELMONT — Lois S. Kuzara, 79, of Wells Street, died in her home on Monday (Feb. 11, 2013) following a long illness.

She was born Dec. 28, 1933, in Arcade, the daughter of Nelson and Effie Beabout Starks.

On April 8, 1964, in Wellsville, she was married to Henry L. Kuzara, who predeceased her Sept. 30, 1985.

A lifelong resident of Wellsville, she attended the Wellsville High School. She had been employed in the dietary department at Jones Memorial Hospital in Wellsville and also was a waitress in the Modern Diner in Wellsville for many years.

She enjoyed her family and playing bingo.

She is survived by sons, Gerald of Salamanca, Robert of Kingston, Tenn., and Kevin (Donna) of Friendship; daughters, Lorrain Chandler of Tulsa, Okla., and Donna Greenan of Wellsville; grandchildren, Mark, Todd, Brandy, Katelyn, Theresa, Tasha, Tim, Curt, Dianna, James, Donald III, Donivan and Paul; several great-grandchildren; sisters, Mildred Tait of Olean, and Norma Sisson of Tennessee; and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; son, Richard; four brothers; and two sisters.

Visitation for the family only will be held in the Mulholland-Crowell Funeral Home in Wellsville on Thursday (Feb. 14, 2013) from 2-4 p.m. Visitation for the public will be held from 6-8 p.m., when services will be held at 8 p.m. with the Rev. Ralph Eastlack officiating.

Burial will be in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Wellsville, at the family’s convenience.

Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Association.
