Neils Creek, Dec 11—The installation of the officers of Neils Creek Grange, No. 345, was held last Thursday with Fred Hopkins, of Avoca Grange, assisted by Mrs. Cyrus Margeson, of Howard Grange as installing officers. A delicious roast beef dinner was served by the women to about sevent Grangers and visitors.

Mr. and Mrs. I. J. Calkins, Trena and Raymond Calkins, Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Alderman and son, Fred,. Mrs. John I. Fry, Eldon and Elmer Preston attended the dedication of Howard Grange Hall last Thursday night.

Mrs. John Fry, of Harrisburg Hollow, is visiting her niece, Mrs. C. W. Alderman.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Abbey, Mrs. Earl Gunsolus, of Bath, Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hopkins and Miss Ruby Sick, of Wallace, and Mr. and Mrs. Cyrus Margeson, of the Brasted District attended the installation dinner last Thursday.

Mrs. Eva Sillsbee returned to the Bath Hospital last Monday for treatment. Her Many friends here hope she will soon be able to returned to her home much improved.

Mrs. Seneca Walker and daughter, Joyce, spent Friday afternoon with Mrs. Eldon Preston.

Mrs. Floyd Alderman and children, of Haskinsville, spent Wednesday with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J. M. Petteys.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest Mattoon and Mrs. J. M. Petteys were Christmas shopping in Hornell, Tuesday.

Dan Hendee, of Glenbrook, Conn, visited his sister-in-law, Mrs. Ernest Mattoon and family, Monday.

Harrisburg Hollow, Dec 11—A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Palmer, November 29.

Mr. and Mrs. Michael Gerych and Bill Gerych came from Newark, N. J., Tuesday, to spend a few days with Mr. and Mrs. John Gerych, Mrs. Maggie Fry and Mrs. Augusta Fay.

Mrs. John Fry is visiting at the home of her niece, Mrs. Clarence Alderman, of Neils Creek.

Miss Evelyn Sylvester spent Wednesday night of last week with Miss Wilma Empey, of Bath.

Thomas Robinson spent the week with his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. James Agor, of Mitchellsville.

Rev. and Mrs. G. W. Walker, of Bath, visited at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ferris, Sunday.
