PHGS 3rd Annual Picnic
July 14, 2001

The day began a little after 8 am, with Dan Maxson talking to us about PHGS and the days events. Mary E and John Bryant (our Hosts) were presented with a miniature cemetery and a Belt Buckle made from polished stone by Dan Maxson, in appreciation for their hard work and commitment to the Society.

9:00 a.m. - Evelyn Penman Cattaraugus Co. Historian, spoke on Cattaraugus County Resources.

10:00 a.m. - Bob Currin  Pres. Potter Co. Historical Society, spoke on Potter County Resources, and how people lived and what they talked about during the 1850s

A Question and answer session followed each speaker.
