One stone states The Six Children Of Katharine Schweitzer Are Buried On This Lot
Rumor has it the neighbors were feuding and the Schweitzers owned the land quite close to the neighbors house. Because they did not get along, Schweitzers buried their dead here where the neighbors had to see it every time they looked out their window. Some of the children died of Black Plague. At that time it was believed the germs could work their way to the surface.
