Oswayo Valley Historical Society
For those of you interested specifically in the history of the Oswayo Valley, check out the Oswayo Valley Historical Society
The society is located in the basement of the Shinglehouse library and is open from 1-4 PM each Friday. They welcome visitors. If you contact them, they will make special arrangements to assist with your research.
President Darell Harris and VP George Donovan try to conduct at least one program per quarter and attempt to present as much local history as possible.
The Society was founded in 1979, has 40 members, and would like more! Member fees are six dollars ($6.00) per year and include a quarterly newsletter in January, April, July and October.
