||William Van Steamburg, a veteran of the Civil War died at the
Soldier’s Home at Bath, NY on Saturday [7-12-1913]. He was born
in Delaware Co., NY in 1845. He has lived previously with his son
William Van Steamburg at Galeton. His death occurred at the Soldier’s
Home and he was buried there. Besides his son, he is survived by
3 daughters; Anna Mathern, May Frost and Cynthia.
