Metcalf of Potter Brook and one brother: James McCullough of Lansing.

AUSTIN, Sarah G. Death 08-08-1875 DIED in Elmira, Aug. 8, 1875 at residence of her son, Mrs. Sarah G. Austin, age 77. Moved into Potter County with her family from Chenango County, NY in 1841. Settled in Harrison Township, near White’s Corners where she lived many years. For several years has lived with her son, E. O. Austin of Portage Township, removing to Elmira in March last year.

AVERY, Howard A. Death 03-16-1913 Former Judge Howard A. Avery died at his home in Keating Summit on Sunday [3-16-1913]. He was 70 years of age and is survived by his widow and one son, R. H. Avery of Keating Summit.

AVERY, Walter Death 05-29-1913 Walter Avery was found dead last Thursday [May 29, 1913] morning at the iron bridge near Kent’s ice house. Heart failure is believed to have caused his death. His body was taken to the home of his brother Ansil Avery in Wellsboro and buried there. He was 42 years old and is survived by his mother, Mrs. Janet Avery of Elmira, a son; Walter of Penn Yan and an uncle W. O. Avery of Galeton.
AXMAN, Anthony Death 10-08-1923 Anthony Axman was found dead last week, Monday. He formerly resided in Galeton for 22 years. Survived by his wife, one daughter; Mrs. Mae Cooper, 2 sons: Carl of Galeton & Earl a student at State College, one sister; Mrs. J. C. Bower of Williamsport andt a brother; George A. Axman of Jersey Shore.
AXMAN, Margaret Marriage 04-26-1923 Miss Margaret Axman & Leo L. Leuthner of Germania were married in Jersey Shore, April 26, 1923.
AYERS, Ferdinand Death 06-29-1923 Ferdinand Ayers aged 74 years was found dead last Friday (June 29, 1923). He had been dead for sometime. Survived by 2 brothers; Charles & George; also 2 sisters; Mrs. H. Duell & Mrs. C. F. Wells.
