The Hendrickson House - 1913

These pictures were contributed by Royce Reinwald.

We have a mystery for all of you: Does anyone have any information on this unique house - where it was located, what happened to it? If you do, please email us at the address at the bottom of this page.

Another PHGS browser has contributed the information that this house is (was?)
on School Street in Harrison Valley: Go up the hill and just beyond the turn it was on the right.
Anyone up for a trip to check on it?

Royce tells us that the house belonged to his great, great grandfather, Denison Hendrickson. He says that in the 1900 and 1910 census, Denison is living in Harrison Township. The 1900 census shows him and his wife, Emily, renting a farm. The 1910 census shows him as a carpenter and owning his home.
Denison is buried in White's Corner Cemetery.
