NOTE: We got a letter from Sarah Sully Houston,
Texas and she is the great-great grandaughter of Polly Wright and
has her rocking chair, which is about 185 years old.
It has gone from Kingsbury (Washington County), to Humphreys,
to Nebraska, to Louisiana, to Mississippi, and now to
Texas. It has been through a tornado and two hurricanes that blew
out the windows, and a fire, and at some stage it rceived
a coat of red lead-based paint. It has rocked a dozen babies
to sleep and she treasures it.
